Special prayers for were said for the Queen in Catholic parishes around the world last week. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales requested that every parish celebrate a Mass with prayers to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. The following prayer for the Queen was said after the Prayer after Communion and before the final Blessing:
